Ms. Barbara’s ABC Learning Center Pre School Program is funded by the California State Department of Education and enrollment is income based. We participate in the California Adult and Child Food Program (CACFP).
The success and quality of our center includes hiring qualified professional staff that continually are required to attend college, seminars, in-house training and workshops.
Our program is child directed and our activities are open ended to allow the child to progress at their pace. We maintain our center and strive to provide a high quality learning and teaching environment for our children incorporating the Desired Results Developmental Profile-2 (DRDP-2) as a tool to measure the success of our program and the ECERS-R as a standard for the over-all physical environment of our facility. The Centralized Eligibility List (CEL) is used as an additional tool for the selection of enrollment for eligible children.
We accept all forms of payment; i.e., Child Action, PACE, private pay, etc.
Additionally our center offers before and after school care for children between the ages of 6-12. We provide transportation to and from selected schools within a 5 mile radius of the center.
We offer a 6 week summer enrichment program. This program is for children requiring some additional support prior to entering the public school system and to introduce first time students to the learning environment. |
